Lavakusha teaser is out, and the characters look totally goofy!

Actor Aju Varghese and Neeraj Madhav will be seen in lead roles in the film Lavakusha, and also has the very versatile Biju Menon in a prominent role. The film's teaser was out recently, and the characters look totally goofy in this one.
The teaser features both the characters conversing with an outer voice, who questions the duo about the film. As the background music gains momentum and the two make an entry as a cop, they are poked by asking if they play a cop in the film. Aju then says that he has had enough of playing a sidekick, and wants to something as the lead, which implies his real-life status as well. The teaser is in a way funny, but the audience are able to derive nothing about the story line from it.
That said, the mere blink-and-miss appearance of actor BIju Menon to the end is enough to raise anyone's expectations about the genre the film will be dealing, as the actor has an amazing comic timing.
Directed by Nee Ko Nja Cha fame Gireesh Mano, the film is touted to be an investigation comedy.

Prithviraj on why "Tiyaan" didn't click

Not every actor would admit one of his films was a failure, or that he is responsible for it. But Prithviraj has never shied away from it, and has analysed his films objectively, on more than one occasion. The actor has now done the same with his film Tiyaan, which, he says, probably lacked clarity. The film failed to connect with the audience, and the makers were responsible for it, he admitted. Expectations were sky high for Tiyaan, supposedly a magnum opus, and the film was made in a grand scale. Prithviraj is currently awaiting the release of his next, Adam Joan, and has started work on Detroit Crossing.

Thrissur and its people are the heart of the film, and for the major part of first half Ratheish introduces the characters – one by one – along with highlighting their virtues and vices. Chemban Vinod’s David Pauly is the first to be introduced – a middle-aged macho man whose alcoholism has got his family so worried that they force...
