Adam Joan: Five reasons to watch Jinu Abraham’s Prithviraj starrer

Debutant director Jinu Abraham's upcoming romantic thriller Adam Joan was shot at a turbulent time in Mollywood, with many raising concerns about the safety of our artistes in the industry. Regardless, the few teasers, songs and posters of the film that are out has already raised expectations about the movie to be an entertaining flick. What should you look forward to if thinking about blocking your dates for Adam and Joan? Here's a lowdown!
1) The Prithviraj - Bhavana pair
They have proven to be a beautiful pair in many movies like 'Robinhood,' 'Swapnakoodu,' 'Ivide' and 'Daivanamathil.' The actors, who came into the industry around the same time, are also great friends off screen. We hope that their chemistry will benefit 'Adam Joan' too, as it hits screens on September 1.
2) Bengali beauty Mishti
We have seen her beautiful face in ads and wondered how someone can look so perfectly radiant. Actress Mishti is making her debut in Malayalam as the character named Emy in 'Adam Joan.' We already love her after the first song of the film featured her as the love interest of Adam. Will she win us over again for this Onam?
3) Deepak Dev's songs
Deepak Dev has been a go-to composer for Prithviraj for many films, starting from 'Puthiyamugham.' In this project too, Prithvi chose none other than Deepak, who has also fearlessly explored the singer side of the State Award winner actor. They have even collaborated for a song that Prithvi sang, yet again, in this movie. The song has already won some admirers for its melody and youthful mood.
4) Visuals all the way from Scotland
The director had hinted earlier that the film has a few of it's sequences getting shot at the beautiful country of Scotland. It isn't a place that we get to see much on the big screen of M-Town, so fans are eager to check out what's it that the birth place of golf and Loch Ness monster has to offer us. Will it have songs shot in the beautiful backdrop of its castles and Northern Highland? Oh, we can't wait!
5) Prithviraj's achayan act?
Though the film's teasers or promos have been mum about it, we have learnt that Prithviraj's character hails from Kottayam in the film and so, he plays a rubber planter achayan. But how much of his achayan side would be explored in the film? That's still to be discovered!

Prithviraj on why "Tiyaan" didn't click

Not every actor would admit one of his films was a failure, or that he is responsible for it. But Prithviraj has never shied away from it, and has analysed his films objectively, on more than one occasion. The actor has now done the same with his film Tiyaan, which, he says, probably lacked clarity. The film failed to connect with the audience, and the makers were responsible for it, he admitted. Expectations were sky high for Tiyaan, supposedly a magnum opus, and the film was made in a grand scale. Prithviraj is currently awaiting the release of his next, Adam Joan, and has started work on Detroit Crossing.

Thrissivaperoor Kliptham Movie Review

Thrissivaperoor Kliptham STORY: As part of experiencing the joys of life, young and coy Girijavalabhan (Asif Ali) gets to be part of a four-member Thrissur gang led by David Pauly (Chemban Vinod). The gang also has an adversary in former schoolmate Joy, who belittles them at every turn. One of their plans to avenge and outdo Joy becomes a launchpad for Giri to shine. But will they succeed? Thrissivaperoor Kliptham REVIEW: From the very first audio byte and visuals of Thrissivaperoor Kliptham, debutant director Ratheish Kumar makes it clear the kind of jokes the movie will have and that it will be a proper entertainer, without any experimental gimmicks. Thrissur and its people are the heart of the film, and for the major part of first half Ratheish introduces the characters – one by one – along with highlighting their virtues and vices. Chemban Vinod’s David Pauly is the first to be introduced – a middle-aged macho man whose alcoholism has got his family so worried that they force...
